Photography is one of my favorite hobbies. I've been shooting with an SLR since the summer after my 9th grade year (ca. 1997.) when I took out my parents' old Minolta SRT 201. These days I shoot with a Canon EOS 3 with a 28-75 and 70-300, both of which are Tamron lenses. I enjoy shooting nature and scenic photography, as well as cities, towns and other cultural photography. I photograph to capture the beauty of the world in the hopes that my work may inspire others to help protect and save it. My philosophy is "natural light." I don't shoot with a flash, but rather only use the available light around me. Unfortunately, film doesn't always capture the image as we see it. The only filters I use to correct the film is a polarizer and sometimes a warming filter. I don't manipulate my images on the computer except to remove dust and scratches and correct the color.
